Shamoon Hafez has crunched the numbers, records and points in the match report to give you an idea of when and where Liverpool can win the league.

    Check that out here.

  3. 'Snippets of quality are unforgiving'

    FT: Norwich 0-1 Liverpool

    Norwich City

More from Norwich midfielder Todd Cantwell talking to BBC Match of the Day: "They are a fantastic team. Everyone knows that going into the game. We looked at it as a free hit, not many teams have been able to compete with them. It was a chance to show our resilience. It was bitterly disappointing to concede that goal."

On the goal: "It's frightening to think about how he took that ball down and smashed it in. It's that snippets of quality in this league, it's very unforgiving. It looked like a chance of a foul but they've obviously looked at it and decided it wasn't enough."

On Liverpool: "They are leading the pack and deservedly so. They are so good in so many topics of the game. It is hard to compete against them at times really."

On playing in the Premier League: "I'm loving it. To go out and play against a side like that and some of the players you're against, I'm grateful for the chance. It's bitterly disappointing to lose again, it's been those little percentages again that we've missed out on today. It's about picking ourselves up and going again."

  4. Post update

    FT: Norwich 0-1 Liverpool

    Norwich City

"It has been those little percentages that we have missed out on and that was the story today but it was a bit of a free hit," says Norwich midfielder Todd Cantwell.

  5. 'One topic was missing'

    FT: Norwich 0-1 Liverpool

    Norwich City

Norwich Head coach Daniel Farke speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "Performance-wise we were pretty good in many topics, sadly one topic was missing, to be clinical in our finishing. We had our chance in the first half."

On Sadio Mane's goal: "I just watched it back shortly. When the referee doesn’t give a foul it won’t be overturned. It was also due to the quality of [Sadio] Mane - his control and then his second touch. It was smart movement from Mane and if the referee doesn’t give a foul you can’t see it [being] overturned. We have already learned that VAR is not on our side.

"Performance-wise we can take a lot of confidence but sadly no points."

  6. Post update

    FT: Norwich 0-1 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp on goalkeeper Alisson: "He helped us so often, it's good, but we pay him for that actually!"

  7. 'The gap is so insane'

    FT: Norwich 0-1 Liverpool

    Liverpool

More from Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp talking to Sky Sports: "It was a difficult game for different reasons. The wind, the organisation of the opponent and the way we played first half made it tricky for us. The distance between the line was too big, too early with the long ball, no second player around to collect the second ball. It was not exactly like we wanted to do. The counter press was not there because we didn't push up enough, so football. We still had nice situations, good set pieces but not really much more.

"Fabinho coming on was very important for the organisation. Saido [Mane] was fresh and he helped us to win the game, which was outstanding. I have to watch the goal back but I'm pretty sure it was a fantastic finish.

"I could tell in all the players faces that they weren't nervous, they were enjoying it, and if one team was going to score it was going to be us. We protected against the counter attack well too. It's really all about these wonderful football players.

"The gap is so insane, I don't really understand it. I'm not smart enough. I've not had that before. It's outstanding, it's so difficult. I go back into the changing room and we chat about the things and then I'm like oh, but congratulations. We won the game, another three points."

  8. 'It was a complete shock'

    FT: Norwich 0-1 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp on Manchester City's two-season ban from European football: "It was a shock. Complete wow. The only thing I can say is about football. What they have done on the football pitch is exceptional. The rest, I don't know. You believe the people you work with, that's how it is.

"I really feel for them, Pep [Guardiola] and the players, but that is how it is. They can appeal so we will see what happens then. It is obviously serious. But the football they played was exceptional and will always be exceptional."

  9. 'It was a moment of magic from Mane'

    FT: Norwich 0-1 Liverpool

    Norwich City

Norwich City boss Daniel Farke speaking to Sky Sports: "It’s disappointing because we did many things today we wanted to achieve really well. It was a moment of magic from [Sadio] Mane that proved crucial to Liverpool winning this game.

"When we create chances we have to be effective, when you are two-on-one on the goalkeeper it must be a goal but sadly we missed that chance.

"We were playing the best team in the world. It was sad that during a period that we had more control that they were able to score. We were close to a good result but have to accept the loss.

"When you watch our last 15 games or so, barring one game, they have all been decided by one goal."

  10. Post update

    FT: Norwich 0-1 Liverpool

Liverpool need 15 points to win the title as it stands. That's five wins from their remaining 12 games.

That's assuming Manchester City don't drop any points.

  11. Post update

    FT: Norwich 0-1 Liverpool

Alisson is the first goalkeeper to keep 10 clean sheets in the Premier League this season.

    He’s made 18 appearances.

    .
  12. 'Got to win games coming up'

    FT: Norwich 0-1 Liverpool

    Norwich City

Norwich City goalkeeper Tim Krul speaking to Sky Sports: "I've said it many times, but we've got mixed feelings. You're sat in the changing room feeling proud of the performance but it means nothing in this league. We threw everything at them but it didn't matter. They are the best team in the world, just look at Saido Mane coming on, top, top class.

"We should be proud of what we did. We're in a dog fight, a relegation fight. There's some big weeks coming up with games against teams around us, they are big games, we've got to win them. Today was a free hit really.

"Beating Liverpool, it could have been a great story but we've got to look back and go again. We believe in each other but we've got to start winning.

"We've defended well for pretty much the whole game and there's just that one moment but that's the difference at this league."

  13. Post update

    FT: Norwich 0-1 Liverpool

Just to confirm, Liverpool are now 25 points clear at the top of the table. Ridiculous!

Manchester City are next in action against West Ham on Wednesday.

    .
  14. 'A little push is normal in football'

    FT: Norwich 0-1 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane speaking to Sky Sports: "It was not easy because as a football player you want to play all the time. I go for treatment, work hard and come back and in the same time I saw the team and the boys doing a great job."

Did he foul Christoph Zimmermann in the build-up to the goal? "I don’t think so. A little push is normal in football."

On closing in on the Premier Leauge title: "It was the target from the beginning and we are doing very well. We will do everything possible as a team to carry on the same way."

  16. 'Delighted with the result'

    FT: Norwich 0-1 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson talking to Sky Sports: "They caused us a few problems but overall I thought it was another good performance and we got the goal to get us the three points.

"I managed to go a little bit further forward once Fabinho came on. They are dangerous on the counter-attack so you've got to be aware of protecting against that too. I had a few half chances to assist or get a goal but it was tough conditions today, we've got to be delighted with the result.

"When it's windy it always affects the game, but its the same for both teams, you've just to get on with it. There's still things we can improve. We've got to get ready for another big game in midweek now.

"You're probably bored of me saying it but we're one step closer, it's just about focusing on the next game. We've just got to keep doing what we've been doing all season, never change that."

  17. Post update

    FT: Norwich 0-1 Liverpool
