Over the entirety of the game Burnley are the deserved winners.
Until Morata came on the Clarets were the better side by a distance. When it came to it, it was the sending off of Cahill that made a real difference.
Chelsea were simply insipid until they fell 3-0 down. Then Conte made some changes and it completely changed the game - you have to ask why the changes didn't happen earlier.
Good luck to the nation's football reporters, trying to distill that into 800 words!
'That's a huge result'
Chelsea 2-3 Burnley
Burnley
Sam Vokes, scorer of a double for Burnley, in the Stamford Bridge tunnel: "We were sloppy at times but we ground the result out and we're delighted as a result.
"That's a huge result - a lot was made of our away form last season. So that result is huge, a massive win for us at the start of the season.
"It was always going to be tough here but we got our heads down and put in a performance."
'At 3-0 up we should have made it safer'
Chelsea 2-3 Burnley
Burnley
Burnley midfielder Jack Cork, formerly of Chelsea: "They made it hard for us in the second half but a win’s a win and we’ve got three points on the board.
"Stephen Ward has a wand of a left foot - it was a great strike, a great goal!
"At 3-0 up we should have made it safer, but we got there in the end. It's always good to have a good start in the Premier League - it means a lot to us and to all the fans that came here and those at home."

All over! The champions are beaten! What a game!
'The referee has lost it, he's absolutely lost it'

With all the time-wasting, the goals, the substitutes and the sendings-off, I wouldn't be surprised if there were nine minutes of added time... it's four minutes!
After all the stoppages, to think the referee can give only four extra minutes! The referee has lost it, he's absolutely lost it.

Chelsea 2-3 Burnley
Desperate times. For both sides. Burnley are clinging on, Chelsea pressing. Seconds left...
'It is remarkable'
Chelsea 2-3 Burnley
Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on Football Focus
Chelsea look better with nine men than they did with 11 men. Burnley are just panicking. They are getting caught up in it.
It is remarkable, really. It is only Chelsea who could get back into it.
SUBSTITUTION
Chelsea 2-3 Burnley
The substitute is substituted as Charlie Musonda replaces Christiansen.
HITS THE WOODWORK
Chelsea 2-3 Burnley
What else can this game throw at us?!
Robbie Brady smashes a free-kick against the base of the Chelsea post.
And we've still got four added minutes to play.
'Those who were leaving are back'
Chelsea 2-3 Burnley
Steve Wilson
Match of the Day commentator at Stamford Bridge
Well, well, well. Those who were leaving have turned around on the Stamford Bridge concourses and come back in.
GOAL - Chelsea 2-3 Burnley
David Luiz
Surely not! There is still hope for the Blues!
David Luiz lashes the ball under Tom Heaton and in after latching on to a Morata header.
Hold on to your hats. We've got a mad three minutes in store!

Ssxio: That’ll teach you for being a petulant child in the first half Cesc.
KO: At this rate, Conte's gonna have to play himself next week.

'It is not as bad as Cahill's'
Chelsea 1-3 Burnley
Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on Football Focus
He has gone in again with the studs. It is not as bad as Cahill's, but he knows that once you are on a yellow card, you need to be careful going into a challenge.
Very rarely now do you see players going in at the side. It has crept into the game and they need to eradicate it.
'Fabregas falls off the tightrope'
Chelsea 1-3 Burnley
Steve Wilson
Match of the Day commentator at Stamford Bridge
I wonder if Craig Pawson got some help from his assistant on the far side, Lee Betts. Fabregas slid in and caught the foot of Jack Cork. His only intention was to win the ball. It was a harsh yellow.
His first yellow, however, for sarcastically applauding, was stupid. It put him on a tightrope, and he has just fallen off it.

Fabregas is furious. The midfielder dives in to try and win the ball and catches jack Cork. Second yellow, followed by red. Cesc may feel the decision is harsh but he set himself up for it by getting an unnecessary first yellow for talking back to the ref.
RED CARD
Chelsea 1-3 Burnley
Chelsea's afternoon gets even worse! Cesc Fabregas has been sent off!

Oh, close! N'Golo Kante lashes a shot just past the post. Lots of pressure from the home side. But time is running out.
Chelsea's title challenge under threat?
Chelsea 1-3 Burnley
Steve Wilson
Match of the Day commentator at Stamford Bridge
Antonio Conte knows that you don't kill the chicken because of one bad egg. But Chelsea's next four games are: Tottenham away, Everton here, Leicester away and Arsenal here. If those four matches go as badly as this, you could argue that the champions will be out of the title race before it has begun.
