How women rebuilt Rwanda following the genocide

"Rwandan Women Rising" is a new book by Swanee Hunt, a former US ambassador, who's collected - over a period of 17 years - testimonies of 90 Rwandan women. In her book she highlights the key roles played by women in rebuilding the country following the 1994 genocide. She says there are lessons to be drawn from their stories that are relevant to us all. She's been telling me more.
