Sam Clucas: Swansea sign midfielder from Hull as Stephen Kingsley joins Tigers

Swansea City have signed midfielder Sam Clucas from Hull with left-back Stephen Kingsley going to the KCOM Stadium in part exchange.
Clucas, 26, has signed for four years for an undisclosed fee after passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.
The Swans had an earlier £12m bid for Clucas rejected.
He arrived as Swansea sought a replacement for Gylfi Sigurdsson after the Iceland midfielder's £45m move to Everton.
The new arrival could make his Swans debut when they seek a first win of the season at Crystal Palace on Saturday.
While Swansea survived in the Premier League last season, Clucas shone even as Hull were relegated.
Kingsley, 23, has signed a three-year deal with Hull, also for an undisclosed fee.
Clement admires Clucas' back story
Before the deal was confirmed, Swansea manager Paul Clement underlined the player's versatility - he can play in defence, midfield, on the wing and was a striker while at Leicester's academy.
From there he went to the Glenn Hoddle Academy before rising to the top flight via Hereford, Mansfield and Chesterfield before joining Hull in 2015.
"He has experience of playing at Premier League level, he has a lot of experience of playing in British football," said Clement.
"And I also like the story, I like his background. He's had to fight to where he's got to through the route he's come in the lower levels.
"He was at the Glenn Hoddle Academy, he became a very strong and established player at Hull and I think he's going to be a really good addition to us."

I think League one is beckoning. They have no interest in the club whatsoever< good luck to Sam and the rest of the guys who have left
ALLAMS OUT
Absolute greed of the highest level. Sucking every penny they can while they can. I really feel for City fans.
ALLAMS OUT
Clucas £12mill+
Wood £15mill+
Gray £18mill+
And the list goes on. And the ticket prices go up.
If you listen to the pundits on BBC/SKY all they ever talk about is money !!!!!
And who's being suckered........The fans. GRRRRrrrrrrrr.
It is still not us doing the business we deserve.
Too many centre midfielders and now not enough defenders. The squad is going backwards!!
Where is all the money going Huw?
As for Sam Clucas, sweet left foot and a decent player, though I don't think he'll light up the premier league any time soon...Swansea will do well to stay up this term. We'll do well to avoid Div1
They were very lucky not to go down last season. They've sold their only decent player.
Now we've got almost no one of quality left who isn't injured.
At least Ehab's got plenty of cash now. He's trousered an unbelievable amount of money over the last 18 months. How the football authorities can allow clubs to be run in to the ground is baffling. They need to look in a mirror
No real pace in the team with Montero never fit. Dyer and Routledge aren't good enough to start so we have 1 good winger. We have 1 LB if Kingsley leaves and are dodgy at RB too. 1 senior striker at the club of any repute.
Okay first team but a worryingly weak squad for me, the board have a lot of work to do!
I reckon we need a total of 5 players to cover injuries.
