Live from the WOMAD festival

Cerys broadcasts live from WOMAD with live music from the Los Angeles Latin band Las Cafeteras, Msafiri Zawose from Tanzania, and Delhi-based outfit The Ska Vengers.

She'll also be talking to Grammy-winning producer and author Ian Brennan about his recent Tanzania Albinism Collective project.

First launched by Peter Gabriel in 1982, the World of Music Arts and Dance (WOMAD) festival has been held in Charlton Park in Malmesbury, Wiltshire, since 2007.

In the second half of the show, Cerys is heading over to the Charlie Gillett stage to join up with Lopa Kothari, the presenter of World on 3, and a festival audience. In a live simulcast on both BBC 6 Music and Radio 3, Cerys and Lopa will share an array of live music that includes Las Cafeteras, Msafiri Zawose and The Ska Vengers.
