Listen: Sudbury's most-famous son
BBC Radio 4 has been serialising the life of painter Thomas Gainsborough in its Book Of The Week programme.
The book Gainsborough by James Hamilton looks at the landscape and portrait artist who lived 1727-88.
Sudbury has Gainsborough's House museum, while many of the artist's pictures are on display at Christchurch Mansion in Ipswich, where he also lived and worked. Here's a selection of our archive features:
Headteacher pays tribute to teenagers killed in Great Waldingfield crash
The head teacher at Thomas Gainsborough School in Great Cornard has paid tribute to the two teenagers who died in a crash in Great Waldingfield on Wednesday.
Wayne Lloyd said: "Both Zac and Kye are fondly remembered by staff and students
at the school.
"Our
heartfelt condolences go out to their family and friends and everyone affected
by this tragedy."
Driver Zachariah "Zac" Smith, of North Rise, Great Cornard, and his passenger Kye Mclean, of Rockhall Road, Polstead, were travelling on the B1115 when their silver Vauxhall Corsa veered off the road and hit a tree.

After starting with match-winner Joe Garner and Freddie Sears against Birmingham last weekend, David McGoldrick got both goals in Tuesday's Carabao Cup win at Luton, while new signing Martyn Waghorn impressed from the bench.
"I think they're all intelligent enough football-wise that they can go on and play together [as a pair]," McCarthy told BBC Suffolk Sport.
"Certainly Waggy showed his versatility when he took Tristan Nydam's spot [in midfield at Luton and played very well there."
The Blues will be aiming for a third straight win of the season at Oakwell - something they didn't manage in the whole of the 2016-17 campaign.

"He was the biggest giver of hugs and kisses, a mechanic, a sportsman, a son, a brother - a someone to everyone."
The family of Kye Mclean said: "Kye was loved by everyone who knew him, not only by his family, but by so many friends too.

Spur of the moment decision led former soldier to play for Ipswich Town
Ken Parker, who has let us see the £3-a-week contract his father Stanley signed with Ipswich Town back in 1947, says after he was demobbed from the army, Stanley met up with a friend called Bernard Sharp.
"I think they were probably having a drink at a pub in town, and dad said 'they're taking on players for trials tomorrow, do you want to come down?'.
"I guess dad being dad scored a couple of goals and that was it."
Years after he stopped playing, Stanley Parker told his son the secret of his success: "Every time I put on that Ipswich Town shirt there was an England shirt underneath it."
Earlier this week we shared some photographs of Stanley Parker, who signed a contract with Ipswich Town in 1947 and became their top goal scorer in the 1949/50 season.
It got us wondering how many goals he'd had to score to be remembered in this way, so we checked with Pat Godbold, who is the club's archivist and was secretary to several managers from Scott Duncan to George Burley (1937-2002).

She checked the records, and said his tally was 13 in Division Three South, as well as two FA Cup goals.
Pat also remembered watching Parker play.
She said: "I was only about 11 when I started to watch the Town play in 1946, and I knew him.
"We have ex-players' reunions and he came along several times."
She described him as a "lovely man, very smart, good looking, with nice wavy hair".
