We're running out of words to describe Jimmy Anderson. Today, either side of a lengthy rain break, he clinched his 26th five-wicket haul.
He's one behind Ian Botham, who holds the England record with 27.
Chris Woakes was excellent today. He could have had even better figures than his 2-19 on his return to the Test team.
The England all-rounder took the big wicket of Virat Kohli at the start of the evening session. After that wicket an Indian collapse always looked possible.

There are some good fielders in that England side but for whatever reason they are still dropping chances. I don't know if they are staggered right. I am no expert of slip cordons but I used to look at the great cordons of Swann, Collingwood and Strauss, they used to be staggered better.

India just have to go out there and bowl full, get the outside edge and take every opportunity. We know England do have a collapse in them but you have got to fancy that 270-280 will be around par tomorrow.

Anderson took 5-20, Woakes 2-19, Broad 1-37 and Sam Curran 1-26.

I don't think the ball will do anywhere near as much when England bat tomorrow. India will think they have probably got their team wrong. They have left out Umesh Yadav and they have two spinners. I can't believe it is going to spin much.

We've only had 35.2 overs in the first two days of this match but England are still in a position where they look like big favourites in this match.

Ian Shepherd: Imagine an England cricket team without Anderson...I can't either.... he's a legend who bends the ball round corners...
Andrew Morris: For some reason I thought Jimmy had been playing for more than 15 years. But I can also remember my one and only Lords visit being his debut against Zimbabwe back in 2003.
Rob Davies: Anderson with yet another swing bowling masterclass. Making a decent batting line-up look ordinary. If England apply themselves with the bat tomorrow then the series is ours.

Anderson is like a fine wine, he has just got the ball on a strong, wonderful to watch. The catching was indifferent, it could have been lower than 107 but it has been the perfect day for England. Cook and Jennings can know the sun is going to shine tomorrow and they won't have to face these kind of conditions.

It seems surprising for a batting line-up like that to be blown away. But with the way India batted at Edgbaston and you look at the amount of swing and it was so difficult especially for these India batsmen who are used to flat pitches. It seems we are going to get these kind of pitches for the series and England will want grass left on.
