    Sunderland will stand in their way of a place in the Championship next season.

    There's a pitch invasion at The Valley - an explosion of happiness and relief from the Charlton fans.

    They've been put through the ringer but it's been worth it in the end.

    You've got to feel for Doncaster and John Marquis - they were the better team tonight and have been beaten in the cruelest of ways.

    For what has been described as 'safety reasons', the penalties will be taken in front of the Charlton supporters.

    Two policeman were in on the discussions with the officials, which explains why that decision was made.
