  1. Goodnight!

And that's all the reaction from today's games.

We'll say farewell, but you can follow the rest of the Southampton game here or some top-class Championship football here.

    See you tomorrow.

  2. Life at the top

    .

It's all looking good for Manchester City, while that turnaround for Chelsea was important.

Spurs could move level with Manchester United if they beat Liverpool tomorrow.

  3. 'It was nearly perfect'

    Huddersfield 2-1 Manchester United

    Huddersfield Town

    Mooy

David Wagner on BBC Sport: "The players have shown everything that you have to show when you play Manchester United - the right spirit, attitude and togetherness.

I said before I can’t expect a result, but I hope and believe in one. We scored at the right moment. We were on our best, even if we did change the gameplan and gave them more of the ball.

"The first hour was nearly perfect for us. How we defended, how we kept them away from our goal. The longer it went on, they put more pressure on us.

"We had bodies behind the ball, everyone fought to keep it out of the net. It’s not only beating Manchester United, which is big enough, but also 12 points on the table."

  4. 'Another chapter in the fairytale'

    Huddersfield 2-1 Manchester United

    Huddersfield Town

More from Wagner: "I haven’t thought about why Manchester United weren’t at their best. They have played a lot of games and they had injury problems. It could be they are not at their freshest, but we didn’t think about that.

"If this is our moment, we have to grab it, which is what the players did. Small Huddersfield have beaten Man Utd and it one of the proudest moments in my managerial career.

"It’s another chapter in the fairytale we started nearly two years ago. It has shown everything is possible in football. Today was our moment. It makes everyone very happy and very proud."

  5. One of my proudest moments - Wagner

    Huddersfield 2-1 Manchester United

    Huddersfield Town

More from David Wagner: I said to the players that I wouldn’t expect a result, but that I can believe in a result. That is why it so huge for us. It’s a very proud moment, that we were able to beat Manchester United at home.

"In one game you can have a chance. If there is a chance, try to catch it. Today was our moment because we were at our best and maybe they weren’t. It is one of the proudest moments in my career. It makes me very happy.

"I don’t like to think about the game against Liverpool today. It’s only about this win. We will think about Liverpool tomorrow morning."

  6. 'A big, big day for Huddersfield'

    Huddersfield 2-1 Manchester United

    Huddersfield Town

    Wagner

Huddersfield manager David Wagner: "They have done it because of the attitude we have shown, the fighting spirit. I can say that wasn’t luck, it was deserved.

"We had to change the idea of our game, we sat deeper and wanted to break them down in transition. It worked out, but we will still that we’ve seen a top-class team in United. It’s a big, big day for everyone in Huddersfield.

"Even when we won games at the start of the season, I said you have to leave the past in the past. That’s what we did after the we lost game too. We learned lessons from the defeat by Tottenham.

"It probably helped us that they had a Champions League game in midweek."

  7. 'They wanted it more than us'

    Manchester United

Jose Mourinho told BBC Sport: "The best team won. It’s simple. I have to give them credit. They had a different attitude, motivation and desire than we had.

"Everyone at the stadium could feel in the first couple of minutes that one team was ready to give everything and the other was not ready for it. Maybe only my players realised at half-time.

"It’s a shock and I am surprised. I have to analyse. I have some ideas, but this is not the moment for that. We say congratulations to the winners because they wanted it more than us."

  8. 'Unhappy if we play a friendly like that'

    Huddersfield 2-1 Man Utd

    Manchester United

Jose Mourinho: "When you have such a negative match, of course it makes you concerned. I want to think positively and think the players will take something from it.

"We are experienced enough to know that when we come to place like Huddersfield, for them it is a big, big, big match. If we played a friendly with the same attitude as today, I would have been unhappy."

  9. Listen all of y'all it's sabotage

    Swansea 1-2 Leicester

    Swansea City

    Federico Fernandez

Since the start of 2015-16, Swansea have scored 11 own-goals, more than twice as many as any other side.

  10. Post update

    Huddersfield 2-1 Man Utd

This was only Jose Mourinho’s third defeat to a newly-promoted side in the Premier League (W33 D4) – losing against Crystal Palace in 2013-14, and Bournemouth in 2015-16 when at Chelsea.

  11. 'Champions League is no excuse'

    Huddersfield 2-1 Manchester United

    Manchester United

More from Mourinho: "We are happy to be playing in the Champions League. These players have played European football for many years. We know other teams might have a week to prepare for league games.

"It is part of the game and not an excuse I want to use now. The team that deserved to win, won.

"I know the goals came from mistakes, but we were open to making mistakes. When you start the way we did, it is more likely to make mistakes.

"If you make mistakes in a high-quality performance, you are disappointed with the individuals that make mistakes, but that was not the case today."

  12. Post update

Fairly scathing stuff from Ander Herrera...

  13. This cannot happen again - Herrera

    Huddersfield 2-1 Manchester United

    Manchester United

Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera: "In the first 30 or 35 minutes, we didn’t play good. They were more passionate than us, more aggressive. We cannot accept that.

"Congratulations to them, they deserved it, but we have to analyse where we lost today. We lost almost every ball. That cannot happen in the Premier League.

"Everyone has to analyse for himself what happened in the first half. When you play against a team that normally you are better than, you have to match their aggression and passion. We didn’t do that. It cannot happen again.

"In the second half we were OK. We tried to move the ball. It was OK, but not enough for a point."

  14. Players' attitude concerns me - Mourinho

    Huddersfield 2-1 Manchester United

    Gary Rose

BBC Sport at John Smith's Stadium

    .

Jose Mourinho has just been in for his post match news conference. He says Huddersfield were deserved winners but is concerned that one of his players said their attitude was poor.

He said: "I heard Ander Herrera in the flash interviews said the attitude and desire was poor, oh my God. When a player thinks that then I think all players should go to the press conference and explain why because I can't explain.

"It concerns me of course. If it happened today then why can't it happen tomorrow?

"I don't even remember a friendly match where the attitude was so poor."

  15. 'My kid wouldn't jump so high'

    Manchester City 3-0 Burnley

    Burnley

Burnley manager Sean Dyche: "They are fantastic at the moment and playing with confidence so you know it will be a tough day.

"You have to get everything right. Some things got away from us, certainly the referee's decisions.

"We stuck at it but not enough. It's not a place you can come and expose your team. We tried to press the keeper when we could but they now have a keeper who can kick the length of the pitch. City now have a better mixture and they can play football but can also turn you. A much better mixture. We know we are still learning. Some if these clubs are the finished product."

On the penalty: "The problem is at the moment, there is contact. But if I contact my kid in the garden I would be amazed if he got that high off the floor. It is amazing how high these players go. How has the referee has seen it? I had to watch it four times to see contact.

"If that's a penalty then I want one on Chris Wood last week. We just want parity."

  16. 'A bad team deserves to be punished'

    Huddersfield 2-1 Man Utd

    Manchester United

More from Jose Mourinho: "I'm disappointed, but the reality is they were stronger than us. I prefer to be at peace with football and to be at peace with football is when the best team wins.

"The mistakes we made can't be taken out of context. The context was that the first-half performance opened the door for mistakes to be made. It would be unfair to point fingers at players for individual mistakes. They were a consequence of what happened in the first half. A bad team deserves to be punished."

  17. The late game

Southampton v West Brom (17:30 BST)

While we're knee deep in reaction on this page you can follow a separate live on the late game here.

  18. United deserved to lose - Mourinho

    Huddersfield 2-1 Man Utd

    Manchester United

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho: "The team that wanted it more won. When the best team wins there is nothing to say.

"I don't know why they wanted it more. I won’t be critical of my players in the media. I will analyse the game and, if I need to, I will criticise them.

"I was surprised by our performance, I was not expecting that. The team that started with emotion, aggression, intensity and desire, the team that played the game of their lives was the team that won.

"Maybe in the second half we wanted it a little more and maybe we could get a draw, but I honestly think we deserved the punishment of the defeat."
