  1. Post update

    That's your lot.

You can check out the match report here and we'll have lots of reaction across the site throughout the night and into the morning.

Thanks for joining us during a long, old season. And congratulations to Bayern Munich - European champions for a sixth time!

    See ya.

  2. Post update

    The King.

  3. 'Coman has stepped out of shadow'

    Paris St-Germain 0-1 Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich head coach Hans Flick: "It was a high-tempo, high-octane match with chances at both ends. We have the best goalkeeper in the world in Manuel Neuer and he kept us in the match in certain instances.

"What was great was how the team played as a lot of people wondered how Bayern would defend against their impressive front line. I think we did a very good job on that score. We had a good attitude out there through the team that was great to see.

"We really make life difficult for the opposition. When you think how we worked defensively until the 92nd minute. Robert Lewandowski was chasing after the ball, that was incredible. It was a complete team performance."

On Kingsley Coman: "Perhaps he's finally stepped out of Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben's shadow this season. Kingsley has incredible talent and he showed tonight that he can also score goals.

"I've not set a deadline for when the party has to stop. It's only right to celebrate when you win something. You have to have a party and I don’t know when that party will end."

  4. 'Man City and PSG have been miserable failures in Europe'

    Paris St-Germain 0-1 Bayern Munich

    Chris Sutton

Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

At this moment in time you would have to say that both Manchester City and Paris St-Germain have been miserable failures in the Champions League with the money they have been able to spend, because a lot of clubs can't compete with that.

PSG are not a small club, they are a massive club. With the money they can spend they can attract the best players - but it hasn't all knitted together.

  5. Post update

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand on BT Sport: "Hansi Flick has got experienced players with influence in that changing room. younger players might think 'you;re a number two'. But the experienced players say 'no, he's the man come with us'."

Olayinka: All hail the Kings of Europe. Worthy Champions, Perfect Champions, hugely deserved. The undisputed best team in Europe by a country mile. The rest of Europe have got to buckle up. Won't bet against them going all the way again next season.

  7. 'PSG are desperate to win this trophy'

    Paris St-Germain 0-1 Bayern Munich

    Chris Waddle

Ex-Tottenham and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

It doesn't matter who is PSG manager, you are expected to win the domestic league and cups but this is the competition they want to win.

Its all about the Champions League for PSG now. They are so desperate to win this trophy.

You can say now PSG will win the league and domestic cups next season - but in the Champions League I'm not sure they can get this far again.

The way it has panned out has helped Paris. They must have thought this is it - we're not going to get a better chance. This was the time to win it and they haven't won it. The owners want to win it, it's as simple as that - and this was the chance.

  8. 'What coach says no to Messi?'

    Paris St-Germain 0-1 Bayern Munich

More from Paris St-Germain head coach Thomas Tuchel: "It is nessecary if we want to keep the same level, we have to step up again. You have to go on. This level is necessary. We showed again we can compete with the best teams in europe with this mentality and attitude, in combination with our talent. We are a strong, strong side. We can be proud of that. We cannot worry too much because it is okay and we will go on.

Will PSG look to sign Lionel Messi? "He is very welcome! We lost lots of players for this campaign only and we lose now Thiago Silva and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. We need to use the transfer window now to make the squad wider. The campaign will be very demanding without any breaks. We need to build a strong, strong squad.

"We decided not to talk about transfers in this period here. We will sit together in the next days. We have many things to do to keep the level of the squad.

Pressed on Messi again: "What coach says no to Messi? I think Messi finishes his career in Barcelona. He is Mr Barcelona."

  9. 'How can you demand to be efficient?'

    Paris St-Germain 0-1 Bayern Munich

Paris St-Germain head coach Thomas Tuchel to BT Sport: "Big fight between two strong sides, very equal sides. Bit more possession for Bayern and a bit more confidence with the ball, agreed. Very dangerous moments for us. Two very good opportunities to score.

"I had the feeling before that maybe the first goal decides this match. It's a pity we couldn't do it because it would have been a big obstacle for them. A challenge for them to come again and turn it around. We needed this boost maybe from the 1-0 to show the quality. We showed unbelievable fight. It is absolutely possible to play the same game again and win 1-0.

"How can you demand to be efficient? You cannot. We did some finishing yesterday to give them a good feeling. We are not the type of team who plays without goals normally! We showed big fight but they scored the first goal and that was decisive.

"We had two changes in mind but it was a bit of a surprise [that Kingsley Coman started for Bayern]. [Ivan] Perisic did very well in the last matches. It was a lot of speed to defend. All the defensive attitude was amazing. We showed the spirit necessary to win but weren't lucky enough."

  10. 'How can Flick better this?'

    Paris St-Germain 0-1 Bayern Munich

    Chris Sutton

Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

You look at next season, how can Hansi Flick better this?

This has been stunning, the way he has come in and transformed the club.

When they absolutely thumped Barcelona - however were they going to maintain that level of performance? They did it a different way tonight.

They have so many big players who can handle the big occasions.

  11. 'Every young player is hungry'

    Paris St-Germain 0-1 Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies speaking to BT Sport: "It feels really good. It's everything you dream of as a kid to come to Europe and win the Champions League with a great club like Bayern.

"That just goes to show the team I have around me."

The interviewer then shouts "Lookout!" As Davies gets drenched in champagne by several teammates.

    "Sorry, sorry!" he says.

"It's really not your fault..." says the interviewer.

    .

"My story is one I want to inspire people of," Davies adds. "It shows that you can do anything you set your mind to. I am happy to be here with the Champions League medal around my neck and the trophy on the side.

"We know legends won this title before so as a young kid coming in you want to keep that going. Every young player at this club is hungry to win titles because they see their idols doing it."

  12. 'Thiago wanting to leave is surprising'

    Paris St-Germain 0-1 Bayern Munich

    Chris Waddle

Ex-Tottenham and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

I've always liked [Thiago Alcantara]. I remember he came on the scene at Barcelona and he's always been a technical player with agreat range of pass.

He likes to get on the ball and dictate the play. Whoever signs him will be getting a great player.

But it's strange he wants to leave a team that has just won the treble.

Whether he has been offered something unbelievable elsewhere that's his business and good luck to him, but it's surprising.

  13. 'Goretzka has absolutely everything'

    Paris St-Germain 0-1 Bayern Munich

    Chris Sutton

Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

I'm a big fan of Leon Goretzka. He has a fantastic attitude and has everything as a midfielder. He has a great range of passing, he has a hell of a strike on him, I know he's been compared to Michael Ballack in recent times but I think he has absolutely everything.

When they had the break he worked exceptionally hard on his physique and he has come back bulked up and in the midfield he was so dynamic for them - such an important player.

He gets stuck in and does the simplest things really well. You can't be at your best all the time and it wasn't the final we all expected this evening, so you have to do the other parts of the game well and he was exemplary in that.

  14. Post update

I did a similar thing with a traffic cone after winning a cup match in hockey at University...

Almost as impressive as the Champions League trophy.

  17. 'The spirit of this team is crazy'

FT: Paris St-Germain 0-1 Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich's European champion Serge Gnabry speaking to BT Sport: "Winning the trophy today is the best thing that could happen to us. We worked incredibly hard and in the end it came through to be the best team in Europe.

"It's the final, Paris came out wanting to win and so did we. Nobody is going to give up easily but we came through.

"As long as it was 0-0, it was always going to be open for us. Of course, they were going to have chances. It was lucky they didn't score and lucky we did score."

    .

On Kingsley Coman: "He helped us extremely. He came in and one-against-one we knew it would be difficult for the opponent. For him to score that goal after being out injured for a couple of games and to come back into the team was incredible.

"It has always been said that the spirit of this team is crazy. We always fight for each other and we have a strong bond. Hopefully we can build on that and win more."

On winning every game in the Champions League this season: "It sounds amazing!"
