SMS Message: I can't work out Chelsea fans - we've wanted the youngsters to get a chance for years yet now the moment it's not working, some of us want Frank sacked? It's pathetic, he's not been able to spent any money, players like Loftus-Cheek are injured and we lost Hazard last summer. Yet we're 4th, 6 points clear of fifth. As for this being the worst CFC team in 20 years, must've forgotten the season we finished 11th! from Chris, Maidstone

SMS Message: I'm seeing a bit of Maurizio Sarri in us at the moment. We don't have any fluency or character anywhere on the pitch at home. I really miss Pulisic and hope he is fit really soon. Loftus-Cheek too for that matter. There's no direction it seems. from Ryan

  4. 'Tonight is a special night'

    FT: Chelsea 2-2 Arsenal

    Arsenal

    Hector Bellerin

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "I am very pleased with the reaction. To do that against this kind of opponent in this stadium, I really value. The way they have done it, with the spirit they have done it, that's great.

"When someone makes a mistake you expect your team-mates to stand up and they showed that belief, I was really impressed with that.

"I wasn't here a couple of weeks ago but what I am demanding every day they are trying their best to do it. Some are playing in different positions.

"The togetherness and leadership they showed today, this is what I wanted to see.

"It's very important for the development. We are in the a process and are going in the right direction but I think tonight is a special night for everybody.

"Granit [Xhaka] is - the way he trains every day - his attitude is incredible. I am very pleased with him in that position, the way he came in. I wasn't expecting Hector Bellerin to score with his left foot but he is fighting hard."

  5. Post update

    Arsenal

Mikel Arteta on Gabriel Martinelli: "He is a great kid. He gets in the box. He plays against Cesar Azpilicueta who is one of the best defenders in the league and keeps taking him on. That is not easy.

On Martinelli texting Ian Wright: "He gave him good advice, eh? Keep doing it!"

  6. 'We are looking for a striker'

    FT: Chelsea 2-2 Arsenal

    Chelsea

More from Frank Lampard to MOTD on buying in the transfer window: "I'm not a massive believer in looking at the age. Do we have to have a better shot conversion, yes. I have spoken about that a lot. You can't say we will definitely sign a striker this month but we are looking because there is a fine line in football. If you don't score enough goals then you won't win enough games.

"It's a tough run coming up. It's frustrating because you can't say we played terribly. That's just as important though. We have to get that right. I am pleased to be fourth but we should have a lot more points with the way we have been playing."

  7. 'Basic errors'

    Chelsea 2-2 Arsenal

    Chelsea

    Frank Lampard

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard speaking with BT Sport: "I am disappointed given the situation of the game. We completely deserved to go 1-0 up.

"For a little bit after that we were getting used to them with 10 men.

"But we created enough chances in the second half, it was just the same old story, we couldn't take them.

"In football basic errors can cost you points."

  8. 'Have to have killer instinct'

    FT: Chesea 2-2 Arsenal

    Chelsea

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "Frustrated because you want to win. We got a goal, they went down to 10 men and we have to do better to score another goal. Then we didn't defend and gifted them two goals. That's people not doing their jobs which they should know. Moments like that lose you points at this level.

"We could have had three or four goals today. Having shots, crosses and lots of 'ooh' moments. We have to be clinical. When gameday comes you have to have the killer instinct. We've not got that at the moment. We might be a bit young and a bit of transition about us but we have to have that quality. It's nothing on the crowd, that's about us."

Oscar Hewitt: New Chelsea goalkeeper needed in the summer.

astrikes: Tired of hearing Lampard and the players talking about 'we were in control of the game'. As soon as the penalty went in our effort levels dropped and we left giant holes for Arsenal to run into. Gave the ball away countless times. Awful mentality & repeated excuses.

SMS Message: Hoping we will see sense and sack Frank, same mistakes time and time again from Steve, Eastbourne

  11. Post update

Frank Lampard calls Hector Bellerin's equaliser 'a goal you see in the park every day.'

    Nice.

  12. 'A good point'

    Chelsea 2-2 Arsenal

    Arsenal

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta speaking with BT Sport: "Time will tell if this is a stepping stone, but at least I saw a reaction. I demand from the players that they never give up, we have to keep playing with the spirit we showed in every game. I'm proud of the way they reacted.

"They stepped up - if a team-mate makes a mistake they have to have their back.

"It's a good point in the end."

    More to follow.

  13. Post update

Hector Bellerin's cockney-Spanish accent is brilliant. Every time we listen to it...

  14. 'I've done that before!'

    FT: Chelsea 2-2 Arsenal

    Arsenal

More from Arsenal's Hector Bellerin speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "The second half had been very tough for the team. You could see the spirit in the team. I am very proud and the manager I'm sure is very happy with how we responded with 10 men.

On his goal: "I've done that before you know?! Sometimes in games, that situation happens. When someone gets sent off you all need to make sure you make up for him. Everyone defended with a lot of heart. I am happy because it feels like more than a point."

  15. Post update

FT: Sheffield United 0-1 Manchester City

    Sheffield United

    Riyad Mahrez

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder: "It was a disappointing decision by Chris Basham to have a nibble at their boy, who didn't need much encouragement to go down. That's something we're having to get used to as a Premier League side."

Fair to say Chris Wilder doesn't like Riyad Mahrez very much tonight...

  16. Post update

Energy levels low at Watford? They are playing again in two days.

  17. 'Really disappointing'

    FT: Aston Villa 2-1 Watford

    Watford

    Nigel Pearson

Watford manager Nigel Pearson told Match of the Day: "This is the first setback that we've had with a few talking points as well. In all honesty we struggled to find the energy levels we have had of late.

"We dug in to score a goal in the first half and we had a really good chance to go 2-0 up. It's a disappointing situation and one we will have to come to terms with it very quickly.

"We've done really well to get back in contact and maybe this is a reality check if people thought the hard work had been done and it shows how quickly things can change. To lose with the last kick of the game is really disappointing but we will bounce back."

On whether Tyrone Mings deserved to be sent off when he handled the ball after earlier being booked, Pearson added: "I can't do anything about that. We're in the hands of the officials to get that right."
