    FC Copenhagen 1-1 Celtic

    Olympiakos 0-1 Arsenal

    Rangers 3-2 Sporting Braga

    Wolves 4-0 Espanyol

  2. 'We could have put the tie in a better position'

    FT: Olympiakos 0-1 Arsenal

    Arsenal

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta talking to BT Sport: "It's a really good result. First of all to win away in Europe but to come to a ground like this and win, credit to the lads.

"We suffered for the first 10 minutes, we gave the ball away too much and couldn't get any continuity in our play. In the second half, apart from the set pieces, we controlled the game much better.

"We could have put the tie in a better position. We had positions and chances where we'd expect the players to put the ball in the net.

"We're going game-by-game. There are a lot of things we want to improve. I still see things that mean we can't control the game and damage the opponent. But we are playing with a lot of commitment. We had three players with cramp, struggling at the end."

On Bukayo Saka: "We try to put him in the right position, surrounded by the right players in the right position. He's not a full-back. He's responded in the right way, he's got a lot of courage. I'm very pleased with his performance."

On Bernd Leno's performance: "He saved us in the first half when we needed him to be fair. They are a dangerous team on the crosses and he couldn't protect against that, we suffered."

Paul: Have to admire Wolves. Why? Not because they're a quality team but they started in July, doing well in league, doing well in Europe and has their manager ever moaned about playing too much? Nope. Klopp and Guardiola should take note. Nuno has more class than both.

  4. 'Good goals and good result'

    FT: Wolves 4-0 Espanyol

    Wolves

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo, speaking to BT Sport: "It was a good game, tough game. The second half was good, good goals, good combinations - more settled in the game and more organised on the pitch. Good."

On Ruben Neves' stunning goal: "His talent, his characteristic is doing this. We want him to do it more.

"Now we have to think about Norwich. We have a couple days to rest and recover and go again."

On the potential red card for Espanyol in the first half: "It is the criteria of the referee. He decided like this, VAR also checked and decided like this. Let's hope it is the right decision. It is over."

Iturraspe of Espanyol headbutts Wolves Diogo Jota
  5. 'Dreaming is free' - Nuno

    Wolves 4-0 Espanyol

    Simon Stone

    BBC Sport at Molineux

Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo was told fans outside the ground believe their team can reach the Europa League final.

He was asked whether he agreed.

"They know me," he smiled. "We have to recover and rest."

But then, he added: "Dreaming is for free."

  6. 'It's my job to make saves'

    FT: Olympiakos 0-1 Arsenal

    Arsenal

Arsenal goalkeeper Benrd Leno talking to BT Sport: "It's my job to make saves. At the end when you have a clean sheet, I'm happy. We won this game and we have the away goal so we're happy."

On Mikel Arteta's plan to play him in the Premier League and Europe: "I want to play all the games. We take this competition seriously. It's another chance to win a trophy and qualify for the Champions League. I want to play all the games so I'm happy he's decided I should."

On Bukayo Saka: "He is an outstanding player, hopefully he stays very long at Arsenal. He is very important for us. His cross today was very good. We're happy now we've got the advantage and the away goal."

James Warner: If Arsenal don’t win the Europa League this season, I hope it’s Wolves . Nuno and his team have been very impressive - especially since historically most teams crumble in the league during their first European campaign, and their season started in July.

Jack: Another top class performance from Saka. Southgate has to consider him as an outside bet for England .

  8. 'Things happen naturally'

    FT: Wolves 4-0 Espanyol

    Wolves

Wolves' Diogo Jota, who scored a hat-trick, tells BT Sport: "It is a great result at home, a few goals, a clean sheet - it is in our hands now to complete the job in the second leg.

"Things happen naturally. I am struggling a lot to score in the Premier League but sometimes when small things change, things appear. I am very happy to score and to get the win."

  9. 'I'm happy to score'

    FT: Olympiakos 0-1 Arsenal

    Arsenal

Arsenal matchwinner Alexandre Lacazette talking to BT Sport: "It was a good performance. We had a clean sheet, that's a good point. We wanted to score more goals but in the end it is good because we have an advantage for the second leg.

"I had a few chances but it's not always easy to score. Thanks to Bukayo Saka for the assist, it was nice. I'm happy to score.

"It was nice to come here with the great atmosphere and now we go home with our fans and it will be good."

"It was really important for us. A clean sheet is important. We know we have to play there and it is a tough stadium to play. We will work hard to get a result again.

"We take it game by game. Now we have Premier League again then after we think about the Europa League. Now it's time to rest then prepare again."
