  1. Farewell

And so ends another entertaining night in the English Football League with the pick of the action at Highbury as Wycombe reigned victorious over nine-man Fleetwood.

For now, I'm off for a lie down after that hectic Millwall victory..

    Thank you for joining us.

  2. We'll meet again....

League One play-off semi-final second legs on Monday

    David Wheeler

And there's even more EFL action to kick-off the new working week when on Monday evening, we'll bring you the return legs of the League One play-off semi-finals.

Here's how they stand and line up:

17:00 BST: Oxford United v Portsmouth (agg 1-1)

19:30 BST: Wycombe Wanderers v Fleetwood (agg 4-1)

  3. More Championship action to come this weekend

Plenty more twists and turns no doubt in the Championship this weekend as the restart continues.

Saturday sees eight fixtures, starting with Derby against Nottingham Forest at lunchtime with a few more intriguing relegation six pointers to follow later in the afternoon.

There's also three more games on Sunday, including Sheffield Wednesday's trip to Swansea from midday.

  4. FULL-TIME

    Charlton 0-1 Millwall

    Millwall celebrate

That's it, all over at The Valley.

Millwall stay in the mix for a play-off spot as they move up to eighth in the table and two points off six with victory.

Meanwhile Charlton remain three points off the drop zone and will be looking over their shoulder during this weekend's fixtures.

  5. Post update

    Charlton 0-1 Millwall

Time is ticking down at The Valley and Millwall take the ball into the corner to try and get themselves over the line.

They win a corner, which is played back towards the corner flag and they win another.

  6. Post update

    Charlton 0-1 Millwall

Adam Matthews puts a succession of crosses in to the Millwall box in a last ditch attempt to force an equaliser.

Naby Sarr attempts a header at the first attempt but it's blocked and Matthews' second effort sails away and Millwall survive this late onslaught.

  7. SUBSTITUTION

    Charlton 0-1 Millwall

Final roll of the dice for Charlton? Naby Sarr replaces Darren Pratley as they chase the game with five minutes added on.

  8. SUBSTITUTION

    Charlton 0-1 Millwall

Another change for Milllwall as Jed Wallace is hauled off in place of Shaun Williams.

Five minutes of normal time remain. Can Millwall hold out for the win?

  9. GOAL: Charlton 0-1 Millwall

    Jake Cooper (81 mins)

    Jake Cooper

    A GOAL!

And what a goal it is as well. Charlton keeper Dillon Phillips spills a save from a long-range Connor Mahoney strike and Jake Cooper is on hand to bury it home at a tight angle.

Finally something to perk this game up a bit. And lord knows it's needed it.

  10. Post update

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

Tom Lockyer has just buried a volley well over the bar whilst totally unmarked inside the Millwall box.

That could have been the winner had he thumped it about 10 metres lower.

  11. SUBSTITUTION

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

Jonny Williams has come on for Aiden McGeady while Deji Oshijala is replaced by Alfie Doughty in a double Charlton change.

Meanwhile Connor Mahoney replaces Ryan Leonard and Mahlon Romeo departs for Billy Mitchell for Millwall.

  12. Post update

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

Drinks break over and we're inside the final 20 minutes here.

Is this going to finish goalless or are we in for some sort of mad ending with eight goals, a 22-man brawl, five sendings off and both keepers scoring a penalty?

Crossing my fingers for the latter, folks. Crossing my fingers for the latter.

  13. Post update

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

    Charlton v Millwall

From the corner that follows that Bartosz Bialkowski save, Darren Pratley does well to rise above his marker at the far post to get a header in on the Millwall goal.

However the Charlton defender nods his effort into the ground and it bounces across and over the crossbar.

  14. Post update

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

Chuks Aneke makes a bright start to his time on the field following his introduction as he whips a ball across the face of the Millwall goal.

Moments later he's played through by Aiden McGeady and he fires a shot that forces Bartosz Bialkowski into a fine save at the near post.

  15. SUBSTITUTION

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

Charlton make another change. Chuks Aneke comes on for Macauley Bonne.

Not to be outdone, Millwall throw on Tom Bradshaw in place of Matt Smith.

  16. Post update

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

Bartosz Bialkowski punches a long Charlton ball out for a corner before Tomer Hemed can get a head to it.

Charlton do well to put Millwall under pressure and work the ball back into the box after it's cleared away but the visitors clear their lines once more.

  17. Post update

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

Jed Wallace puts in a shot inside the Charlton box after a lovely backheeled one-two with Ryan Leonard and the hosts manage to pick up a deflection to concede a corner.

However, Wallace's corner then sails right out for a goal kick.

We've reached the hour mark and spraying mould cleaner behind my kitchen cupboards this morning was more exciting than this.

  18. Post update

    FT: Fleetwood 1-4 Wycombe

    Wycombe

Adebayo Akinfenwa leads the rallying cries in the Wycombe team huddle at full-time.

An almost complete performance by them as they sit well and truly in the box seat in this tie.

  19. Post update

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

An Aiden McGeady cross saunters its way into the Millwall box and Lions keeper Bartosz Bialkowski has all the time in the world to collect it.

    Should have done better.

  20. Post update

    Charlton 0-0 Millwall

The footballing gods giveth, the footballing gods take away.

Whereas we were treated to a game of absolute madness between Fleetwood and Wycombe, I can't honestly say we've had quite the same sort of game several hundred miles south at The Valley.
