  2. 'The players that have come in have been outstanding'

    Leicester 4-0 Braga

    Leicester City

Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers, speaking to BT Sport: "We had to work for it and in the end we were very good. In the second half we were very dynamic and created a number of chances.

"Kelechi is a boy I see every day in training and when I put him in he gives his all. He is a boy that is always ready. Jamie is one of the best strikers in the world but he plays his part in making sure we continue our momentum.

"There are no selection headaches, the players that have come in have been absolutely outstanding. It is a long season and we need them all.

"James Maddison was excellent tonight. It was good for him to get 90 minutes as well."

  3. Stat attack

    Leicester 4-0 Braga

    Leicester City

    • Leicester City scored four goals in a European match for the first time since their first ever match in Europe, when they won 4-1 against Glenavon in the Cup Winners' Cup in 1961.
    • Leicester’s James Maddison registered his first assist in 31 matches in all competitions, last doing so back in December 2019 against Aston Villa.
    • Kelechi Iheanacho has been directly involved in six goals in two Europa League starts (3 goals, 3 assists) for Leicester this season.
  4. 'Quality players are giving the manager a headache'

    Leicester City

Leicester midfielder James Maddison tells BT Sport: "I think we were good today. I think we were solid. The gaffer was not happy with a couple of things at half time tactically.

"We worked so hard for this last season. It is nights like this we do that for and long may it continue.

"We have a good squad. We have a lot of quality in depth. If you look at the injury list we have a few key players out, some are on their way back and I think the manager is going to need to take a paracetamol with the headache he is going to have."

Disappointed not to make England squad? "Yes, if I am being honest. I want to be in the England squad. It is dream since I was a kid and I have had a taste of it. I can't control the England squad, I can only focus on my form for Leicester and we are second in the Premier League and three out of three in the Europa League."

  5. 'A good performance' from Willock

    Arsenal 4-1 Molde

    Arsenal

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta tells BT Sport: "It was really important for us to win tonight and go top of the group. We had a convincing victory and the boys tried to go for them from the first minute. We went a goal behind but it was about the reaction, we created lot of chances.

"If they did not score the own goals, we had players there for the tap in. We could sustain attacks and we did not want to let them run on the counter because they are a threat.

"I really like the approach that the younger players are having for each game, they want to make the difference, they are playing with a lot of personality.

"Joe Willock could have scored more, he created a goal and a good performance. Keep doing what he is doing consistently and his chance will arrive (in the Premier League)."

  6. Post update

"I'm just taking it game by game."

    Hahaha.

  7. 'I have to keep learning'

    Arsenal 4-1 Molde

    Arsenal

Arsenal scorer Joe Willock, speaking to BT Sport: "In the first half they started really sharp and we had to stick with it. We didn't get frustrated."

On his goal to make it 4-1: "I had a couple of chances earlier in the game but I wasn't making a mistake with that one."

On Eddie Nketiah's offside goal: "Eddie snuck in front of me. I didn't think Eddie was offside."

On yet to make a Premier League appearance this season: "I'm just taking it game by game. It's part of my journey and I'm just a kid. I have to keep learning. I'm trying to work hard and when I get a chance in the Premier League, hopefully I can do the same thing."

  8. Post update

He should have mentioned, "there are no easy games at this level".

  9. Post update

    "Keep working in training."

    "Great squad."

    "Everyone doing their best."

"Enjoy it today but focus on Premier League now."

    "Hope we can keep winning."

I mean, are there any cliches that Kelechi Iheanacho has missed in that interview? He's got them all covered hasn't he?

  10. 'I hope we can keep our winning run going"

    Leicester 4-0 Braga

    Leicester City

“This game is gone now. We enjoy it today but we focus on the Premier League now. I hope we can keep our winning run going."

  18. CLOSE!

    Arsenal 3-1 Molde

This would have made it a nervy final few minutes for Arsenal as Leke James' shot deflects off David Luiz and drops into the side netting.

  19. GOAL - Leicester 4-0 Braga

    James Maddison

Fantastic four for Leicester as James Maddison gets in on the act, tip-toeing his way through the Braga defence to finish.

    Lovely.
