Teenager 'critical' after road crash in Deganwy, Conwy

A teenager is critically ill in hospital after a road crash in Conwy.

He was in a Rover MGZ which crashed into a parked Mitsubishi Shogun at about 00:27 GMT on Saturday in Vardre Avenue, Deganwy.

North Wales Police said the teenager has life threatening injuries and has been transferred to Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool.

Two local youths were later arrested and released on police bail pending further inquiries.

The seriously injured teenager was first taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd Hospital in Bodelwyddan.

The other occupants of the Rover received minor injuries.

North Wales Police said anyone with information should contact Sergeant Ifan Jones on 101.
