Somalia: A year after famine declared

The United Nations is warning that hundreds of millions of pounds are needed to prevent another humanitarian disaster in Somalia.

A year ago, the UN declared a famine in parts of the country following a drought that affected a vast area of east Africa.

After a global aid effort the famine was declared over in February but the threat has returned.

The BBC's Africa correspondent Andrew Harding, who reported on last year's famine, has been back to Somalia.
