Lord Coe: No Olympic venue seating gaps

Half a million Olympic football tickets have been withdrawn but 200,000 for other sports will be made available with 10 days until the Games begin.

Organisers are to reduce capacity at the five football venues apart from London's Wembley Stadium.

London 2012 chairman Sebastian Coe told the BBC that the late release of tickets was normal and reflected a policy of not selling tickets to temporary venues until seating had been constructed and confirmed.

He also denied there would be "great gaping gaps" at Olympic venues.
