Venezuela rallies for opposition's Henrique Capriles

Thousands of people have attended a rally in the Venezuelan capital Caracas in support of the opposition candidate.

Henrique Capriles, a former lawyer, is seeking to end the 14-year-rule of President Hugo Chavez in the country's elections on 7 October. He represents a coalition of more than 30 parties.

But following the deaths of three opposition activists while campaigning on Saturday, there are fears that further violence could errupt in the run up to the election.
