In pictures: 20 years of Cream Liverpool
Liverpool superclub Cream is celebrating its 20th anniversary with two birthday parties featuring the club's most popular DJs.
Paul Oakenfold, Fatboy Slim and Carl Cox plus Liverpool's own Paul Bleasdale are returning to the Nation nightclub where it all began for Cream.
Paul Bleasdale said: "Cream will always be special to me. I'm proud to be back and celebrating its 20th year of success."
Both the initial party on Saturday and the second on 13 October are sell-outs with about 3000 tickets sold for each event.
Steve Angello, Paul Van Dyk and Paul Bleasdale are due on the decks for the first party
Fatboy Slim, who performed at Cream's 10th anniversary party, Carl Cox, Pete Tong and Paul Oakenfold will be amongst the line-up at part two of the celebrations.
Twenty years on Cream has branched out and runs Cream Ibiza and the Creamfield festivals. The company's chief executive James Barton said the club helped shape the landscape of popular culture.
"In 1992 when we first opened our doors the world was a very different place, Liverpool was a very different place, but together we have grown to become international brands," said Mr Barton.
