Writing Britain: Saph Holden

Saph describes how grief impacted on her as a teenager in this powerful short film.

This is one of a series of films in which young writers from disadvantaged backgrounds write about the problems of their past, the potential of their present and the possibility of the future. Leeds-based community media training organisation Studio12 and film production company Left Eye Blind Productions worked with young people to develop the films over a period of nine months. The scripts and subsequent films were created by young people working in collaboration with industry filmmakers.

Writing Britain is a national project led by the British Library and funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation. Studio12 is a project run by Leeds Library Information Service.
