According to YouGov the Liberal Democrats have lost four million voters since the last election and people are unhappy about what they've done in government.

In Lewes, where 52% of voters backed the party and its candidate Norman Baker at the last election, The Today programme's Sarah Montague spoke to local residents to get a sense of their views today.

When asked how the Liberal Democrats were doing in government one woman replied: "Not very good at all… they have completely ruined anything that they stood for."

One man said that he felt sorry for Nick Clegg, saying "he is a genuine bloke".
