Peter Pannu: Ex-Birmingham City acting chairman leaves board

Birmingham City's former acting chairman Peter Pannu has resigned from the Championship side's board of directors - and that of the club's PLC.
But Pannu is to retain his place on the board of Blues' Hong Kong-based parent company Birmingham International Holdings Limited.
Pannu's contract as acting chairman of Blues expired at the end of September.
He was then removed from the payroll and has since had no influence on day-to-day matters at the club.

For the last two-and-a-half months, Blues have been under the control of Panos Pavlakis, who has operated as the club's de facto managing director.
Pannu has been involved with Blues since Carson Yeung first attempted to buy the club in 2007.
He was then part of the process when majority shareholder Yeung completed his takeover in September 2009, signing a five-year consultancy agreement.
Yeung was jailed in March for six years by a Hong Kong court for money laundering, after which Pannu served as acting chairman until September.
