Setting the standard

Hailing from Dublin, The Script first hit the big time with single The Man Who Can't Be Moved in 2008. Their third album, helpfully titled #3, was released at the end of last year and shot straight to number 2 in the album chart with single Hall of Fame becoming their first number 1.

Having spent years in LA writing and producing music for acts including Britney Spears, lead singer Danny O'Donoghue's immense knowledge of the music biz led to him becoming a coach on BBC 1's The Voice. Thanks to such prime time exposure, the dulcet tones and determined nature of the band are reaching a whole new devoted audience. Last appearing at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Carlisle 2 years ago, these consummate professionals are certain to put on an impressive show.
