Doncaster Rovers 0-0 Milton Keynes Dons

Doncaster kept a clean sheet for the first time in six league games to hold MK Dons to a draw at the Keepmoat.

The visitors had the better of the game, with Will Grigg hitting a post and Benik Afobe having a lob cleared off the line.

Darren Potter, Ben Reeves and Dean Lewington also threatened for MK Dons, who were rarely troubled defensively.

Doncaster's best efforts came from Harry Forrester and Paul Keegan, who both had shots saved.

Doncaster Rovers manager Paul Dickov told BBC Radio Sheffield:

"I'm a little bit disappointed we didn't win. I thought apart from a five minute spell at the end of the first half we were by far the better team.

"We changed our shape a little bit today. They're an expansive football team and we stopped them playing.

"The effort and desire from the players was fantastic."

MK Dons manager Karl Robinson told BBC Three Counties Radio:

"We're very strong where we are with two games in hand. We just want to keep picking up points, especially at the start of the season.

"There's many positives. There's one or two negatives - I'm not going to say it's all rosy - we can certainly get better.

"Some of the set pieces were poor. We work on them but I think our quality of delivery was poor.

"We've really improved, we're scoring more goals., we're conceding less. We want to keep doing that, we want to keep moving forward and keep improving."
