Watching The Clock, minute by minute for art

The Clock, is a new film showing at the White Cube gallery in London, consisting of thousands of old movie clips in which clock features relentlessly.

The work is by British-based video artist Christian Marclay who says the movie is synched to local time so if the clock on screen shows 3.38pm then that is the time where you are. The BBC's Arts Editor Will Gompertz reports.
