Britain's only identical quadruplets go to school

Getting used to all the new faces in class can be a bit of a headache for any teacher.

So imagine what it must be like to have Britain's only identical quadruplets in your class!

Four-year-olds Ellie, Georgina, Jessica and Holly Carles are so similar their mother, Julie, 42, wrote their initials on their collars to help teachers identify who's who, before they set off for classes, near their home in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.

The girls, who arrived against odds of 64 million to one, are only the world's 27th set of conceived identical quads.

"They all have their own distinctive personalities, so I think that helps and as people get to know them they do begin to tell them apart," said the girl's mother.
