Japan quake: Kamaishi residents return to devastation

Japanese officials say the power to one of the unstable reactors at the crippled nuclear power-plant in Fukushima has been restored.

Meanwhile, in the Iwate Prefecture which was devastated by the earthquake and tsunami, residents of Kamaishi are returning to their destroyed homes to try to salvage their belongings.

The official death toll has now risen to 8,450, with 12,931 people missing.
