The funeral of a paratrooper who died in Afghanistan has taken place in a Norfolk town.
Pte Lewis Hendry, of 3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment, was killed on 9 February, three days before his 21st birthday, while on patrol in Helmand.
He died alongside Pte Conrad Lewis, 22, of the 4th Battalion The Parachute Regiment, who was from Bournemouth.
Pte Hendry's funeral took place at St Nicholas Church in his home town of Dereham.
At the time of his death, his family said in a statement: "Lewis lived life to the full - and more. Words can't describe how much he will be missed.
"He was not only a soldier, a son, brother and grandson, but a friend to all."
Regimental Sgt Maj Richard Hames, of the 3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment, described Pte Hendry as "the paratrooper", saying he was professional, motivated, with bags of confidence and a core of steel.
