At the weekend Bob Dylan - who'll turn 70 next month - performed in Ho Chi Minh City. His music is intimately associated with the anti-Vietnam War movement in the 1960s and 70s, and we speak with someone who was there to find out whether his first concert in the country was a success.

London's V&A hosts the work of 17 photographers in a big new summer exhibition. Of all art-forms documentary photography was the most successful at showing the world the realities of apartheid in action. As Tamar Garb, co-curator explains, these new projects - all conceived and executed within the last ten years - build on the artistic and technical expertise of that time to highlight current issues facing South African society and the place of the individual within it.

The Western movie won't die. On today's edition of the programme we find out about the new film Meek's Cutoff which is an intriguing take on women in Westerns and which also parallels the US War on Terror.
