Leeds United have given a six-month contract to 18-year-old Everton midfielder Zac Thompson after he impressed while on trial.
The former Everton schoolboy has featured for Leeds' Under-18s and reserves in friendly matches.
Thompson has now signed with the Championship promotion contenders until the end of the season.
He will make his full competitive debut for Leeds reserves at Scunthorpe United on Tuesday.
