Leeds United snap up Andy O'Brien from Bolton Wanderers
O'Brien scored two own goals on his last outing for Leeds
Leeds United have beaten Cardiff to the signing of Bolton Wanderers centre-back Andy O'Brien on a two-and-a-half year deal after a successful loan spell.
The 31-year-old former Republic of Ireland defender, who was out of contract in the summer, played nine times for Leeds, scoring once.
Leeds have not confirmed whether they have to pay a transfer fee.
Chairman Ken Bates told the club website: "Despite a tempting offer from Cardiff, he has agreed to join us."
