EG-8 with Zuckerberg, Murdoch, Schmidt and Sarkozy begins

Internet bosses are meeting in Paris at a two day forum arranged by French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg, Google's Eric Schmidt and News Corp's Rupert Murdoch are among those swapping ideas at e-G8.

Their conclusions will be presented to G8 leaders at Deauville later this week.

But as Christian Fraser explains, it may be a fractured report if splits emerge between those supporting a free-wheeling internet and those demanding more regulation.
