BBC - Mumford & Sons - BBC Glastonbury Festival - 2011
16:00 – 19:00 // In the studio next is Marc Riley
Wed 22nd June – Sun 26th June 2011
Worthy Farm, Pilton
The festival has proved an important marker in the ascension of this London four-piece from indie-folk backing band to award winning main stage stars.
2011 was the Mumfords fourth consecutive Glastonbury appearance since their Park Stage debut in 2007. The endless sea of Sigh No More fans who surrounded the John Peel Stage for last year's set meant the grand open space of the Other Stage was a must for this time.

Below My Feet

Why did the BBC coverage not show the whole set? I understand that there is strict time restrictions but you could have at least shown the end of Dustbowl Dance and not cut it off with one verse left!

Just heard Fern say that Mumford and Sons have a big fan base. Too right, my Mum and Dad tuned in on Friday. They are in their 70's

@Charlotte I think the BBC's coverage of Glastonbury has been amazing overall, and while they cut the gig short due to only having an hour of time, I finally now have solid recordings of Below My Feet, Hopeless Wanderer and Lover's Eyes. Seeing them Thursday, they are the heroes of modern music.

I agree with Charlotte! It would have been nice to have seen just until the end of Dust Bowl Dance, although I do respect the time restrictions. Anyone have links to footage of the end of their set?
