Maiga wants 'dream' Newcastle move

Sochaux forward Modibo Maiga refused to train on Sunday in a bid to force through a move to English Premier League side Newcastle.
The Malian did not turn up for Saturday's league match against Caen either.
He has asked club president Alexandre Lacombe to sell him.
Maiga was quoted by French newspaper L'Equipe as saying: "I want it to be done with Newcastle.
"I met everybody, they want me and it is not any club. England is a dream.
"I want to leave, it is necessary that the president agrees to negotiate. I want to go."
Newcastle have reportedly offered US$11.5m for the 24-year-old Maiga on a five-year deal.
"I don't want to fall out with Sochaux," Maiga said.
"But the president has to discuss my transfer."
Lacombe told BBC Sport on Tuesday that his player was not for sale.
The skillful Mali forward scored 15 league goals for Sochaux last season.
Meanwhile, Nancy has signed striker Benjamin Moukandjo from Monaco on a three-year deal.
The French club announced the signing on its website on Monday but gave fo financial details.
Moukandjo had three years remaining on his Monaco contract.
The 22-year-old Moukandjo, who has played twice for Cameroon, scored three goals in 13 starts for Monaco last season when they were relegated to the second division.
