Chard firm makes production switch from Far East

A Somerset company which makes domestic and commercial cleaning equipment has increased production at its plant in Chard, bringing some work back from the Far East.

Numatic International employs 720 people in the town, making virtually all the parts for its Henry vacuum cleaners from scratch.
