The web of secret tunnels under Gaddafi's Tripoli compound

The BBC has obtained access to an underground complex beneath the former Libyan leader Col Muammar Gaddafi's compound in Tripoli.

Built in the 1980s, the web of secret tunnels stretches for kilometres and contains communications equipment, beds, food, water and weapons - everything needed to run the country from underground.

Richard Galpin reports.
