Perry Farrell and his gang of rock ‘n’ roll survivors first formed in 1985 and have been playing on and off ever since – with a new album out this year. They are closely linked to the alt rock Lollapalooza travelling festival, which was first launched on the band’s initial farewell tour in 1991.
