The Mix Introducing BlankListen to tracks performed on BBC Radio Lincolnshire. Help playing audio/video How was it for you?Creating the band in January; Mick, Scott and Dom found their drummer James through a mutual friend, and together the four started gigging and producing songs, with their first gig being held at the Miller's Arms on Valentine's Day. As the boys explain "it was really fun and the crowd took us great. All of our gigs have gone pretty well, sure we have our hiccups but it's all good." Last time on The Mix, Blank graced a certain Mix team member with their presence, they were sat round a table with sombreros, sipping margaritas and tucking into wholesome homemade chilli at Bryce Patterson's (aka The Mark 9's drummer) birthday fiesta.  Blank in The Mix It has to be said tonight is just as much of an occasion, their session setting off a party spirit through the studios and their contagious personalities lifting everyone's spirits. Ready to record their album this summer the boys are planning to travel up to Manchester where Dom's sister's boyfriend, who conveniently is a music student, will assist the recording. And what about the future... "we may even play Glastonbury, but then again we might turn it down!" Quite, surely a position every band wishes to be in.
