Son reads 'beautiful' final letter from WWII prisoner parents
A man, rescued to safety during World War 2, says a letter written by his parents before they were sent to the Auschwitz gas chambers is "beautiful".
John Fieldsend was one of 669 children saved from the Nazis by Sir Nicholas Winton.
"We want to say farewell to you, our dearest possession in the world," starts the letter. "Only for a short period of time were we able to keep you".
