You might think you've seen it all at Eurovision - but it could be about to get a whole lot weirder.

It's a competition that has seen everything from corpse guitarists and glitterball drag queens to washer-women brides and sexy milkmaids.

But this year's entry for Belarus, a singer called Ivan, wants to dial it up a notch by performing stark naked - with a wolf biting his body.

He says it'll be a "great experience", but Eurovision disagrees.

Ivan, whose real name is Alexander Ivanov, is planning to sing a song called Help You Fly with assistance from a wolf called Shakira (we didn't make that up).

The 21-year-old says: "It's undoubtedly an experience, a great experience... especially as I have never performed on stage before in my birthday suit and with wild animals."

He says he and his producer Viktor Drobysh decided not to have a costume to show "nature and man are together".

Their plans might get shot down before the main event though, as technically Eurovision bans animals on stage.

A Eurovision spokesman also says nudity is "not appropriate" for a family show.

Producer Viktor is sticking to his guns though, saying: "It's not about vulgarity or sex at all... we want this to be art, not porn."

And if you think that sounds tacky, Viktor's here to correct you on that too - as he thinks "the beauty that will be in our performance is comparable to Rodin's The Thinker" - the famous French sculpture.

The 61st Eurovision song contest will take place next month in Stockholm, Sweden, and this will be the 13th time Belarus has performed in the finals.

Viktor will be performing in the second semi-final on Thursday 12 May before seeing if he's made it through to the final two days later.

He says Eurovision will make a decision after seeing a "second-by-second outline of the routine".

As a plan B, there's also a lighter version of the performance, which if you're really interested in seeing, you can watch below.

Ok, we'll admit it - the chorus is pretty catchy.
