A man suffered facial injuries after being attacked in Bournemouth town centre.
Dorset Police said the victim, in his 30s, was on a park bench at Horseshoe Common when he was approached by three men, one of whom punched and kicked him.
He suffered fractures to his eye socket and cheekbone.
A 30-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and has been released while inquiries continue.

A second man has been arrested over a shooting in Reading on Saturday.
The victim, aged in his 30s, was shot at close range with what is thought to be a handgun, after three men approached him in Norfolk Street at about 19:05 GMT, police said.
He remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A 23-year-old man from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and possession of a fireman with intent.
A previous suspect, a 35-year-old man, has been released with no further action.
