A Sark politician says there is still a way to go to resolve the issue of the electricity supply in the island.
Negotiations are ongoing between Chief Pleas and Sark Electricity, as the island's government contemplates a potential takeover.
It comes after the electricity company claimed it would have to turn off the island's supply, if it was forced to lower its tariffs, as recommended by an independent price commissioner.
Conseiller William Raymond, who retained his seat in Sark's government after Wednesday's election, said the issue has not yet been resolved....

Police are hunting a man who allegedly shouted racist abuse at two schoolchildren.
Officers believe a white man, aged between 30 and 40, shouted at a boy and a girl as they walked to school on Tuesday.
It took place in the Vauxhall Street area, in St Helier, between 07:45 and 08:00.
A woman walking in the area was also subjected to racist comments.
Police say the man had dreadlocks and was wearing a high vis-vest. He was standing with two other men and a dog at the time.
Anyone who witnessed what happened has been asked to contact police.

Firefighters from Guernsey Fire and Rescue Service have raised £6,800 for charity.
The funds will be split between the Guernsey Down Syndrome Group, the Firefighters Charity and the Guernsey Cliff Rescue Team.

In a surprise announcement Deputy Lyndon Trott, Vice President of the Policy and Resources Committee said they "could not support the idea of a runway extension" at Guernsey Airport.
Politicians are due to vote on the extension early next year.
Jersey teaching unions have called on Senator Tracey Vallois to help them get a better pay settlement after she stepped down from two senior government positions.
On Wednesday Senator Vallois stood down as head of the States Employment Board and as deputy chief minister.
The board is currently embroiled in pay negotiations with public sector workers, hundreds of whom marched on Liberation Square last week in protest.

The senator, who remains in her post as Education minister, resigned from the board saying she felt conflicted in her role, as she wanted to support putting more money into public sector pay.
Marina Mauger, from the teaching union NASUWT, says unless there is some improvement on the pay deal, there could be more industrial action from teachers and head teachers in the new year.
Mr Le Cocq was appointed Attorney General in 2009 before becoming deputy Bailiff in 2015.

The Queen has appointed Timothy Le Cocq as Jersey's new Bailiff.
He will succeed Sir William Bailhache in October 2019.
Mr Le Cocq was appointed Attorney General in 2009 before becoming deputy Bailiff in 2015.
