Norway into quarter-finals
Brilliant game.
Having hit the woodwork twice and brought some fine saves out of Lydia Williams, Norway deserved to win ultimately but they were also four fantastic penalties.
Up next will be either England and Cameroon and Norway will pose a very tough test for either of those sides.

GOAL - Norway 3-1 Australia
Stephanie Catley
Catley keeps her country in the World Cup. For now. It's a good penalty, tightly inside the post.
GOAL - Norway 3-0 Australia
Maren Mjelde
Norway nearly there. Right into the corner. The ball hit the net before the keeper moved.
SAVED PENALTY - Norway 2-0 Australia
Emily Gielnik
SAVED! It's all going wrong for Australia, and all very right for Norway. Hjelmseth dives to her right and palms the ball away.
GOAL - Norway 2-0 Australia
Guro Reiten
No mistakes from the Norwegians though. Another very cool finish into the bottom right corner of the net.
MISSED PENALTY - Norway 1-0 Australia
Sam Kerr
Unbelievable. The Australian superstar has missed it by a mile. High and wide. Advantage Norway.
GOAL - Norway 1-0 Australia
Caroline Graham Hansen
Coolly finished. Side-footed to the keeper's left.

This will be interesting because it could be almost like the penalties take longer than a half of the game if they do scrutinise every kick.

Norway 1-1 Australia
So... this could be interesting with VAR.
Remember that the goalkeepers won't be booked if they do come off their line before a kick is taken, as is the case in normal time.
