  1. Woman with dementia completes London Marathon

    A woman who has vascular dementia, is recovering after running for more than seven hours to complete the London Marathon.

    Sue Strachan, 62, took up running after finding out she had the disease and trained on the roads around her home in Staunton-on-Wye, Herefordshire.

    Her official time for the hottest ever London Marathon was seven hours and 12 minutes - she managed to raise more than £12,000 for Alzheimer's Research UK.

  2. Man named in fatal motorbike crash

    A man killed in a motorbike crash has been named by police as 21-year-old Andrew Fellows.

    No other vehicle was involved in the collision, on Birchfield Way, Walsall on Friday afternoon, West Midlands Police said.

    In statement, Andrew's family said: "We as a family are completely devastated by the loss of Andrew through this tragic accident.

    "Andrew was a fine young man, loved by all who knew him and he will be greatly missed."
