  3. 'We were always just enough ahead'

    FT: Saracens 57-33 Wasps

    Owen Farrell

Saracens fly-half Owen Farrell told BT Sport:

"I thought we were up for it during the week and our start showed that we were.

"Our attack was a lot better than our defence and there's some things we need to fix up, but we'll enjoy watching the second semi-final.

"We were always just enough ahead to not be under too much pressure. It's credit to our boys for sticking in and not letting their heads dip when they had a chance of getting back into it."

  4. 'A spectacular game of rugby'

    FT: Saracens 57-33 Wasps

    Jeremy Guscott

Ex-England centre on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

It was a spectacular game of rugby from both teams, Sarries showed their brilliance, professionalism and understanding of one another. The tactics and strategy that they have they executed brilliantly.

Wasps had no answer to their quick ball and Sarries never really let go of their quick start.

  5. Records fall in north London

    FT: Saracens 57-33 Wasps

What we have just witnessed was the highest-scoring Premiership semi-final ever.

The previous high was 77 points (featuring 10 tries), when Wasps beat Northampton Saints 57-20 in 2004

Owen Farrell is the new top-scorer in a semi-final, with all of his 27 points coming with the boot,

And Sarries wing Chris Wyles is now the top-scorer in semi-finals, outright on five scores.

  6. Full-time

    Saracens 57-33 Wasps

    Saracens v Wasps

JP Doyle blows the final whistle on what has been an absorbing encounter.

Eleven tries, 27 points for Owen Farrell and Saracens will be heading to Twickenham next Saturday.

Wasps played their part too, allowing for a lively second half at Allianz Park.

  7. Post update

    Saracens 57-33 Wasps

Scrum to Saracens and the game is nearly up. Twickenham awaits for the hosts.

  8. Post update

    Saracens 57-33 Wasps

A deliberate knock-on from Michael Rhodes gives Wasps another penalty,

Back to the corner we go for another line-out.

  9. Post update

    Saracens 57-33 Wasps

High tackle from Ben Spencer, and Wasps go to the corner as the game enters the last minute of regular time.

  10. Post update

    Saracens 57-33 Wasps

Wasps keep coming and go through the phases in the Sarries half.

They win a penalty just to the right of the posts a metre inside the 22, and have a scrum to try and get another consolation score.

  11. Try (Spencer, con Farrell)

    Saracens 57-33 Wasps

Icing on the cake time for Saracens.

Ben Spencer runs in following a flowing move, but there looked to be a clear fowrard pass in the build-up from Marcelo Bosch to Schalk Brits.

But it is all academical as Owen Farrell adds the conversion, taking his own tally to 27 points.

The scoring must be over now?

    Ben Spencer
  12. Post update

    Saracens 50-33 Wasps

A high tackle gives Wasps a chance to come again.

They are not giving up yet, though the scoreboard is against them.

  13. Try (Wade, con Cipriani)

    Saracens 50-33 Wasps

Still time for more tries, and this is a wonderful score from Wasps, who start the move just outside their own 22.

Guy Thompson breaks through, and throws a brilliant offload to Christian Wade, who races into the right-hand corner.

Danny Cipriani drop-kicks the penalty as time is of the essence.

  14. Try (Itoje, con Farrell)

    Saracens 50-26 Wasps

Surely the game is up for Wasps now.

A burst through the defence from George Kruis sets up Maro Itoje, who hands off two men to crash over.

Most of the Allianz Park crowd sings the lock's name, and his dad is spotted joining in.

The party is very much on in north London for Sarries, as Owen Farrell brings up the half century from the conversion.

The England fly-half has scored half of those points.

  15. Post update

    Saracens 43-26 Wasps

Saracens pick up a penalty from the scrum, and assert their dominance at the set-piece again.

That gives them a bit of time to slow down the game and take the sting out of the encounter.

  16. Post update

    Saracens 43-26 Wasps

Willie Le Roux comes forward, and looks to set up a Wasps attack with a mazy run, but knocks on following some decent trickery with the ball in his hands.

He punches the ground in frustration.

The visitors need a score soon to keep the dream of Twickenham alive.

  17. 'It's just been one of those games'

    Saracens 43-26 Wasps

    Jeremy Guscott

Ex-England centre on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

If Saracens get a little sniff they put Wasps under so much pressure, but still I am not discounting Wasps coming back and scoring.

It's just been one of those games.

  18. Post update

    Saracens 43-26 Wasps

    More changes for Wasps.

Joe Simpson is on for Dan Robson at fly-half, and James Gaskell replaces Nathan Hughes in the pack.

Ben Spencer is on for Richard Wigglesworth for the hosts.

  19. Post update

    Saracens 43-26 Wasps

Willie Le Roux catches a high ball but runs straight into Farrell, giving Sarries the ball.

But Wasps get a penalty and kick to just inside the Sarries 22.

  20. Try (Figallo, con Farrell)

    Saracens 43-26 Wasps

Sarries strike again, and will that be the score that finally does for Wasps?

Sean Maitland steps inside and goes to within inches of the line before behind held up.

But Juan Figallo is on hand to pick up the ball and power over the line.

Owen Farrell adds the conversion, of course.
