  1. Bye for now

    Northern Ireland 28-77 New Zealand

Here's how Group F looks after New Zealand's fifth win on the bounce.

Northern Ireland are still second-bottom of the group, whilst the Silver Ferns leapfrog Australia now they've played a game more than them.

New Zealand are all but through to the semi-finals no matter what the outcome of their game against Australia, but will it be as group winners or runner-up?

That's all from us for now. Until next time...

  4. 'We were sloppy'

New Zealand head coach Noeline Taurua:

"For three quarters of the game, we were in control. I was not pleased for that last quarter, we were sloppy and the skills were not what we expect. When you take to the court there is an expectation and they did not play that well in that last quarter.

"There is no such thing as a break. We will break in five days time. We are now getting ourselves ready to play Australia, we are already looking at that. This is what it is all about when we get to the business end of the games."

  5. 'We fought to the end'

Northern Ireland head coach Dan Ryan:

"Last quarter was awesome we had a chat at three quarter-time and when a scoreline blows out like that sometimes it's about how you conduct yourselves. They fought to the very end and that's all you can ask for.

"Ciara Crosbie who hasn't seen much game time this World Cup came onto the court and she got out there and opened up the circle, ran the base-line, pinged the ball around and some beautiful passages of play.

"I'm happy with how we finished the game, obviously some errors here and there as they put us under a lot of pressure, but I'm glad they finished it off with out highest-scoring quarter of the match."

  6. A 'brilliant' move gives Northern Ireland some consolation

  7. "We are just hitting the right notes"

    Northern Ireland 28-77 New Zealand

Player of the match, Casey Kopua following New Zealand's victory:

"It was a really nice game to get out there, try new things and also try and enjoy it. We are just hitting the right notes, doing the right things. I am really looking forward to resting tomorrow and hanging with family.

"I am really excited for Australia game on Thursday. From the start we build, build, build, and we are really looking forward to getting to that game now."

  8. "It will be a confidence booster"

    Sara Bayman

Former England captain on BBC Two

Well I think they found their best defensive combination so hopefully they will be able to know what their starting XI. They will analyse this game, it will be a confidence booster going forwards. Internationally you are looking at 85% and above for shooting but 64% is low and it’s cost them dearly.

  10. "It was scrappy"

FT: Northern Ireland 28-77 New Zealand

    Ama Agbeze

Former England captain on BBC Two

It was a bit scrappy. I know their coach will want them to go into the Australia game full of confidence, but you would have expected more consistency.

  11. FULL-TIME Northern Ireland 28-77 New Zealand

It's a big defeat for Northern Ireland, but they end on a high as Ciara Crosbie keeps her cool while the crowd chant the countdown and she shoots her sixth goal of the match right at the death.

Once again the Silver Ferns look like a force to be reckoned with and will be pleased with the margin of that win before their crunch match with Australia.

New Zealand have a huge lead, but they're not backing off at all. The Silver Ferns are still going for every possible interception and putting so much pressure on Northern Ireland.

Q4: Northern Ireland 25-76 New Zealand

Great build-up play from Northern Ireland. Shooters Ciara Crosbie and Emma Magee aren't rushing and are working it around the circle nicely.

It's paying off. With eight goals, this is their highest-scoring quarter of the match.

  14. Post update

Q4: Northern Ireland 20-72 New Zealand

Neamh Woods flies out of nowhere and it looks like a great interception, but ultimately it's out for a New Zealand throw-in.

A feisty bit of play which was recognised by the crowd there.

  15. A fine Northern Ireland move sets up Magee

  16. Post update

    Becky Grey

    BBC Sport in Liverpool

Ciara Crosbie, who has come on at GS for Northern Ireland, is very popular with this crowd.

She's 2/2 at the moment and is getting quite a few "come on Ciara"s.

  17. "They restricted them and stopped them scoring"

Q3: Northern Ireland 17-61 New Zealand

    Sara Bayman

Former England captain on BBC Two

I think the Northern Ireland defensive circle looked much stronger, they conflicted a lot of balls. Fionnuala Toner and Michelle Magee were a much better pairing at goal defence and goal attack.

They restricted them and stopped them scoring as much, they only scored 17 instead of 22 in the first two quarters.

    Q4: Northern Ireland 11-New Zealand 61

New Zealand ring in the changes for the last quarter. Lisa McCaffrey, Maria Folau, Casey Koupa and Laura Langman all make way.

The Silver Ferns are switching it up!

Northern Ireland make two changes, with Ciara Crosbie and Neamh Woods replaced by Noleen Armstrong and Lisa McCaffrey respectively.
