"There is currently an increased presence in Bedminster while officers respond
to the incident and carry out a search of the area."

BA scraps summer flights from Bristol
British Airways is scrapping its summer only flights from Bristol Airport next
year "for commercial and operational reasons".
A BA spokesman said it had made the decision "due to the complexity
and cost of operating from airports where we have no crew bases".
BA started the flights to the popular Spanish destinations of Malaga, Ibiza and Palma and to the Italian city of Florence in May 2017.
The firm said it did not mean it was withdrawing from these airports permanently.
Nigel Scott, business development director at Bristol Airport, said: “In the meantime the destinations previously operated by
British Airways are served by other airlines from Bristol Airport so passengers
are able to continue flying to these destinations from their local airport.”
A woman repeatedly used an illegal drug while working as a police officer.
Former PC Harriet Wood, who resigned in April, was banned from Avon and Somerset Police in a disciplinary hearing held at the Portishead headquarters on Friday.
Bosses said Ms Wood had "brought discredit onto the police service" but her actions did not "represent the hard-working and dedicated police officers and staff who work for the communities of Avon and Somerset".
In April the officer submitted a sample for testing to determine whether she had consumed controlled drugs.
Three days later she approached a senior officer to confirm she had used cannabis and had done so "for a period of time".
The drugs test came back as negative but misconduct proceedings continued because of the admission.
Supt Richard Corrigan, head of the Professional Standards Department, said: “Although regulations allow an officer to resign while under investigation for gross misconduct, the misconduct process will still continue.
“As a result of the gross misconduct outcome, the former officer will be placed on the National College of Policing’s Barred List preventing her from working within policing and certain law enforcement bodies
“The illegal use of a controlled drug while holding the office of police constable is completely inexcusable."
The location for a new £30m school in Cheltenham has been revealed.
Gloucestershire County Council officers said the school would be built on council-owned land off Kidnappers Lane in the Leckhampton area of the town.
A council spokesman said the land had previously been identified for housing.
The spokesman said the plans for the new
school will be subject to the statutory planning process and key stakeholders
will be consulted throughout the process.
The council said If nothing was done to address the lack of spaces in Cheltenham secondary
schools by 2019, all year seven places would be full with more than 120 children left without a place.
A lizard travelled almost 3,000 miles in the suitcase of people coming back from their holiday in Cape Verde, off the coast of west Africa.
The RSPCA said they were called to deal with the animal after it was found by someone when they returned home to Cheltenham.
RSPCA animal collection officer Richard Carr said: "We hope this highlights to people how important it is to thoroughly check and recheck luggage including clothes, shoes, towels and bags before leaving holiday destinations to avoid bringing back an unexpected stowaway.”
The RSPCA said the lizard would not survive UK temperatures and to release a non-native animal into the wild would be an offence under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.
