  1. Over and out

That's all from us after another thrilling afternoon which saw Coleraine join Linfield as the only teams on maximum points after two rounds of Premiership action.

Aaron Burns' double was enough to give the Bannsiders a late win at Cliftonville, while last season's champions Crusaders were held to a draw by Ballymena United.

Elsewhere, Glentoran and Glenavon both bounced back from opening days defeats to record their first wins, at the expense of Ards and Warrenpoint Town respectively.

Join us again for more more Premiership action next Friday night and Saturday, when the fixture list has the small matter of a Crusaders v Linfield tussle down for decision.

Until then, it's bye for now.

  2. What they said

    Ards 0-2 Glentoran

Quote Message: Any striker at the start of the season, you want to get your first goal and get off the mark and I was over the moon to do that. In this league, any striker who scores 20-plus goals has had a fantastic season. We were disappointed last week because a draw would probably have been a fair result so it was a matter of rectifying it today and we could probably have scored a couple more goals in the first half. from Curtis Allen Glentoran goalscorer

  3. What they said

    Cliftonville 1-2 Coleraine

Quote Message: When you're a striker you want to play from the start but Oran has made it clear that we have four great strikers and you might need to sit on the bench at times but hopefully that has given him a headache for next week. It's going to sound like a cliche but but we do shooting practice in training and practice makes perfect. It came off my foot flush and nine times out of 10 they go over the bar but it was great to see that one going in. from Aaron Burns Coleraine goalscorer

  4. What they said

    Cliftonville 1-2 Coleraine

Quote Message: I'm disappointed to concede so late on. Last week we were on the positive side of that, today it's the negative. It was really sloppy that we couldn't see out the last four minutes to get over the line with a respectable point. We did well to come back from 1-0 down but then we went hell for leather - against instruction - to try and win the game against a team that had proved their worth last season. from Barry Gray Cliftonville manager

  5. What they said

    Crusaders 2-2 Ballymena Utd

Quote Message: In the last 20 minutes we were on full throttle and their keeper made three unbelievable saves. In fairness to Ballymena, their first half performance was sensational, the way they worked the ball and found little pockets to play in. I'm a hair disappointed we didn't win but by the same token, I'm pleased to get a point from that game. from Stephen Baxter Crusaders manager

  6. What they said

    Warrenpoint Town 2-4 Glenavon

Quote Message: We're disappointed with how we conceded the goals. We're pleased to get off the mark with a couple of goals of our own but we have to make the right decisions in the final third. We have taken 10 bodies in and it will take a bit of time for the players to register with each other but they are here for one reason and I still expect us to be a bit better in some areas of the pitch from Stephen McDonnell Warrenpoint Town manager

  7. What they said

    Cliftonville 1-2 Coleraine

Quote Message: I thought Cliftonville started the game well but by half-time we had five or six chances and it had the makings of one of those days but credit to the lads who kept knocking on the door. Aaron (Burns) has had a big week with the birth of his child. He probably feels he is making up for lost time because he came to us with a bit of an injury but we know the quality he has. from Oran Kearney Coleraine manager

  8. What they said

    Crusaders 2-2 Ballymena Utd

Quote Message: It was a phenomenal game of football and from a Ballymena perspective we more than deserved a point. If we had got another goal earlier in the game, we could have got all three but I'm very proud of my players. We knew how difficult a task it was was and the players acquitted themselves brilliantly. from David Jeffrey Ballymena United manager

  9. What they said

    Warrenpoint Town 2-4 Glenavon

Quote Message: It was important for us to kick on from the disappointment of last week and to come away with two goals and a couple of assists was very pleasing for me personally. I believe in myself that I will score goals and and I'm glad to get back on the scoresheet and to help us get three points. from Andrew Mitchell Glenavon goalscorer

  13. FULL-TIME

    Ards 0-2 Glentoran

A comfortable victory for Glentoran in Bangor.

We thought that John McGuigan grabbed the opener but it appears to have come off an Ards body, judging by the TV pictures. Curtis Allen most definitely got the second. Two assists for Dylan Davidson, the Glens are up and running.

  14. FULL-TIME

    Cliftonville 1-2 Coleraine

An amazing game at Solitude - chance after chance wasted and then (just like the proverbial buses) three come along in the last 18 minutes.

A deserved win for the Bannsiders with Aaron Burns the super-sub by netting both goals including a brilliant finish for the late winner.

  15. FULL-TIME

    Warrenpoint Town 2-4 Glenavon

And so ends a thoroughly entertaining affair at Milltown. A goal in either half from Andrew Mitchell along with one each from Mark Sykes and Stephen Donnelly gives Glenavon their first three points of the season.

Warrenpoint were in front through Alan O'Sullivan and Simon Kelly pulled one back in the second half, but they still await their first points of the new campaign.

  16. FULL-TIME

    Crusaders 2-2 Ballymena Utd

A thrilling tussle ends with honours even at Seaview.

The champions twice had to come from behind to earn a point against David Jeffrey's battling Ballymena side.

  17. Mitchell denied hat-trick

    Warrenpoint Town 2-4 Glenavon

Andrew Mitchell has his head in his hands, and his facial expression says "how on earth have I not bagged the match ball?"

His effort from 3 yards is brilliantly saved by Parr.

  18. GOAL

    Cliftonville 1-2 Coleraine

That's a belter from Aaron Burns to retore Coleraine's lead in the final minute. The substitute completes his double with a superb 20 yard strike which arrowed straight into the top corner.

A goal worthy of winning any game but the Reds still have time to find an equaliser.

  19. Heatley off-target

    Crusaders 2-2 Ballymena Utd

Paul Heatley ghosts in behind the Ballymena defence, but with the angle narrowing all the time, he can only flash a shot wide of the near post.

Can Crusaders - or Ballymena - force a winner in the few minutes that remain?

  20. Two quick goals at Solitude

    Cliftonville 1-1 Coleraine
