serves as a reminder of his incredible career achievements and the high esteem
with which he is held, recognising his immense contribution to the sport as
well as to countless causes.

The messages from the WTA players says a lot about what high regard Murray is held in.
He's long championed equal pay in tennis - he wrote a piece for the BBC back in 2017 about the subject.
"We've got more female role models than ever before, more female commentators than ever before and more people championing the rights for women in sport than ever before," he wrote.
"Things are moving in a positive direction and I am excited about a future in which the playing field might be level for all."
