Europa League: Kilmarnock play Connah's Quay Nomads, Rangers take on Prishtina or St Joseph's, Aberdeen face RoPS

Angelo Alessio's debut as Kilmarnock boss will be in Wales against Connah's Quay Nomads in the Europa League.

Rangers will play the winner of Prishtina's preliminary round tie with St Joseph's, meaning a trip to either Kosovo or Gibraltar for the Ibrox side.

Aberdeen take on RoPS of Finland.

The first-leg ties will be on 11 July, with the return on 18 July. Rangers, like Killie, will be away first while the Dons will be at home first.

The draw for the second qualifying round takes place on Wednesday.

Former Chelsea assistant manager Alessio has taken over at Killie from Steve Clarke, who is now Scotland head coach.

Welsh Premier League runners-up Connah's Quay Nomads are managed by Scotsman Andy Morrison and reached last season's Scottish Challenge Cup final, losing to Ross County. They were knocked out in last season's Europa League first qualifying round.

Rangers came through three qualifying rounds and a play-off last season to reach the group stage and will find out the winner of the Prishtina-St Joseph's tie when it is played over 27 June and 4 July.

Aberdeen, who have been in the qualifying rounds over the past five seasons but are yet to reach the group stage of the competition, meet the team who finished second in the Finnish top flight in 2018, with RoPS currently 10th in the 2019 campaign. RoPS have reached the second qualifying round in their past two Europa League appearances.

Elsewhere in the first qualifying round draw, Connah's Quay Nomads' domestic rivals Barry Town or Northern Ireland's Cliftonville will meet Norway's Haugesund while Crusaders take on Faroe Islands' Torshavn. Malmo have been drawn to face the winner of Ballymena's preliminary round tie against Faroese side NSI Runavik.

League of Ireland outfit Shamrock Rovers meet Norway's Braan and Cork are up against Progres Niederkorn of Luxembourg or Wales' Cardiff Met University. St Patrick's take on Norrkoping of Sweden.
